RSVP to join this network to become a "volunteer" in your area to facilitate "bulk-food orders." You will be responsible to oversee the pick-up of product by those who order in your area and will receive free product for your volunteer service.
We are officially launching the Chia Seed order today; however, before we send out the order form to you, we want to know who will volunteer to establish drop-off locations for a truck to drop off orders in their local areas, which will also be the customer pick-up locations in those areas.
Each bag will contain 50 lbs of chia seed and will be sold for $138 or just $2.76 per pound -- delivered to each pickup site. Those of you familiar with the cost of chia seed will recognize this pricing for what it is -- unusually low! Even bulk orders of various food co-ops now run at over $4.50 per pound for 50 lb bags, and one-pound bags are running in excess of $7 to $12 per pound.
Volunteers will be responsible to see that the orders are processed properly and that the food is distributed appropriately to each customer at the pick-up locations. Those who volunteer to do this work will receive one 50lb bag of chia seed for every 20 bags that are sold to be picked up at their location. Other than the cost of the seed, shipping, and the volunteer benefit, the price represents the actual cost of seeds; this is a non-profit event.
Chia seed is one of the best shelf-stable items to store for both short- and long-term use. It is also an amazingly simple, enjoyable, and nutritious addition to one's diet. We now use it to make each of our salad dressings and it has taken them from being "good" to "really great."
We have been working on recipes and we will share those recipes with everyone who participates in this bulk order. Chia seed is loaded with calcium, magnesium, good protein content, and with wonderful Omega-3 fatty acid content. A daily serving of 2 Tbsp per day provides significant benefits at just over 60 calories per day. For more exciting detail about this seed click below:

Let us know in the next few days if you desire to be a volunteer in your areas. Once we have established areas then we will send out order forms. We would like to do this within a week or less -- depending upon your response!
