Hi All-
We enjoyed Daniel's Chili tonight over baked potatoes and it was absolutely delicious! I used pinto beans and black beans in the recipe. I sprinkled some fresh cilantro over the top and browned some hamburger meat separately for my meat-eaters. I usually bottle a bunch of pintos ahead of time and I cook and freeze black beans so they are available quickly. Another tip I have is that I have been using Muir Glen organic fire roasted tomatoes in the recipes calling for canned tomatoes. They have a fabulous flavor! They are a little more expensive but well worth the price-it's the fire roasted kind. I've also made the Mexi-mac recipe with the tomatoes also. Delish! Hope this encourages someone else!
