I purchased a Vitamix on your suggestion and we love it - thank you! I have read about your recommendations on juicers and was about to purchase the Lequip, but noticed Consumer Reports ranks the Hamilton Beach 67650 #2 (Lequip around #4 or 5). Just wondered if you have had any experience with or knowledge about it. It is just $60 on Walmart.com. Amazon users rank it about the same as the Lequip.

How do I order a Naturally Leavened starter? I can't find a link that is live.

Pamela, check out the following link that is direct to VitaMix. This blender comes with a full seven-year warranty and is priced well.

Online offers for many products can not go below Manufacture Approved Pricing (MAP); however, when you are inside any retail store that offers a product you are interested in, they can offer a price lower than MAP and often will do so if you know exactly what you want in a product. They simply cannot advertise below MAP--ever.

Our favorite low-price juicer is the L'Equip XL Deluxe Juicer. Our favorite High-priced juicer is the Norwalk. Call Sandy Bosch Kitchen Center for an exceptional sale price on the L'Equip Juicer.

I want to purchase a good juicer.  What brand is yours?

We've tried several and prefer the Quisinart 14-Cup Food Processor. Jim and Colleen

I know that you don't make your own pasta very much any more because you have your big supply of pasta, but since I can't afford to do that right now, and I do have a lot of wheat and a grinder on hand, what kind of pasta maker do you recommend?

Are you going to be doing the whole wheat and diced tomato sale again? If so when?

All kitchen wheat-grinders run by motors are a bit loud; some are intolerably shrill. Relative to other motor-based kitchen mills we have used, we love the L'Equip Nutrimill. I will be at the Bosch Kitchen Center this evening. I'll ask my friend who owns it, what mill is the quietest he is familiar with.

I am looking to buy a wheat grinder. I have read so many reviews that I am even more confused now! I also need a food processor and read your previous post, but I want to know if the Quisinart is loud...I am quite sensitive to noise and prefer both of these appliances to be on the quiet side of things! I will have my earplugs handy though because I know they are both loud by nature!
Thank you!

We absolutely love our 14-quart processor made by Quisinart; for a smaller food processor, Bosch provides a food-processor attachment that can be used on the common base that is also used for bread mixing. Through our remaining classes at the Sandy Bosch Kitchen Center Store, the owner is offering both of these products for extremely good prices, as well as our favorite inexpensive juicer. I cannot quote the prices on the Internet, but you can come to a class or call their store. They ship anywhere. Just let them know we sent you to take advantage of the class specials.
