Gone are the days when we could simply call the doctor to find out
how to fix what ails us. Today there are more than 4000
food-induced diseases alone. Less than one percent of doctors are
trained adequately regarding diet; therefore, at least 99 percent
of doctors would provide you with poor dietary advice even if they
attempted to do so. In almost all cases, such doctors end up
prescribing medications when far more informed solutions are
needed.
Unfortunately, this paradigm will not change in the foreseeable
future because there is not an effective way for doctors to be paid
who become capable of dispensing proper dietary advice. This
amounts to offering free services because the insurance companies
still do not reward doctors monetarily for overcoming specific
diet-induced diseases.
What this means is that if you are not sufficiently informed
regarding the various spokes in the complete wheel of health, you
will be treating every problem with prescription drugs and/or
surgery.
My father shared a story with me of a medical conference he
attended in Nebraska. One of the keynote speakers was one of the
world's renowned back surgeons. This man said to this illustrious
crowd of doctors that of the 3000 plus back surgeries that he had
performed, 98 percent would have been far better served through a
proper diet.
If you are afflicted by a diet-induced disease, should you be
seeking allopathic solutions that include prescription drugs,
surgery, and so forth, or should you become informed regarding how
you can prevent, arrest, reverse almost any diet-induced
condition?
It's your life and your body. Isn't it about time that we take back
responsibility of our greatest possession, rather than dote on
every word of the USDA or AMA or XYZ... The more informed you
become and the more practiced you are in the various topics
represented under
Other Spokes, the
more likely you will be able to ascertain when you should use a
traditional medical solution and when far better alternatives
exist.
That having been said, there are times when it is critical to
receive medical care and when there are no truly viable solutions.
In all such cases, it is imperative that you receive such care. For
example, I am extremely grateful that my ten children were brought
into the world by well-trained and caring physicians. I am grateful
for various acute care situations wherein allopathic medicine
reduced severe risks in a matter of moments.
Be informed, be wise, and always seek and find the best solution
possible for whatsoever ails you.
