Yes, if you have the book Original Fast Foods please read the section about fasting. It includes all precautions. If you don't have the book, it may be best if you skip the fast and go straight to the dietary changes. Fasting periodically for 24 hours helps to reset food preferences to more natural and healthful choices. Over time we tend to increase intakes of salt, sugar, fat, and animal-based foods. I lost my computer right after putting the latest version of Daniel's challenge on the website. I hadn't saved the updates and lost them when my computer crashed. I've wanted to go back and write more regarding the seven-day recommendation, but haven't had time to redo everything yet. Jim
