2. 1.5 cups carrot juice
3. 8 oz Napa Cabbage
4. 8 oz Spinach

the longer it sits, will it lose its nutrients?
Comment by James Simmons on February 9, 2010 at 5:45pm
Oxidation begins oxidize immediately; however, even after a full day, it will have far more nutritional value than anything you can buy anywhere. If you want to drink half in the morning and half in the afternoon and evening, split it into two airtight containers, which slows down oxidation considerably.

what kind of juicer do you use?
Comment by G Conrad on February 10, 2010 at 3:27am
I get over the oxidation thing this way. I make the one with carrot juice ( I haven't used apple juice yet.) in the morning. We drink the whole thing for breakfast. Then I make 2 more with other greens, veggies, and fruits at later times. We drink them at 7, 12, and 3. This is the easiest way to get raw fruits, veggies, and greens down the gullet. At this point, two of us eat 2 or 3 lbs. of greens per day along with various amounts of fruits and veggies.
