This recipe is included in the new free DANIEL'S CHALLENGE download. Go to Challenge Four Menus and this soup/stew will be listed with several others. You can follow the recipe exactly for a great weight-loss dish or you come up with an entirely new flavor simply by adding a little more Mrs. Dash, one can of coconut milk, and a little chicken bouillon. Created in such a way you can use the same meal as richer and creamier maintenance dish. Enjoy!

I was at Jim & Colleen's house last night and they fed me the left-overs of the soup from making his video and was SCRUMPTIOUS-er THAN HECK!! Way to go, Jim & Colleen. Thank you! And thanks for this website.

Thank you very much. We have been friends of Kisi and we are glad that she referred us to your website. We love your recipe for veggie bean soup. We have been vegetarian for 20 years and we love your recipes. You need to know that your Teflon pan can kill you. It is very dangerous. It will off gas and the chemicals can cause all kinds of health problems. We only use stainless steal and cast iron.

Thanks for the tip! We recently purchased new pots and pans that are stainless steel with almalgamated aluminum.

This question is for Jim or Mel & Gwena or whoever knows the answer: Are all non-stick pans Teflon? I was under the impression (although maybe it's false) that the newest non-stick pans are not Teflon and are safe. Please comment if you know the answer.

I am trying to locate this recipe as referenced above and have not been successful. Clicking on the recipe in Daniel's Challenge brings me back to the video. Typing in ldshealth.info takes me back to the homepage on this website.

Marinated Veggie Bean Soup Recipe: blend 2 cups carrot juice with 2 tomatoes and 6 fresh basil leaves;

combine in pot with diced carrots, zucchini, sweet red peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Add one pound frozen corn, 1 can of diced green chilies, and 4 cups of properly prepared precooked black beans, as described above; add 1 can of tomato paste and Mrs. Dash Seasoning to taste and simmer until veggies are tender and flavors blend to your satisfaction.
