This is a lovely rich tomato soup with a distinctive flavor. It is also quick and easy to prepare, although allow for 30 minutes of cooking time to soften the barley. The exact ingredients are found on page 170 of Original Fast Foods. Enjoy!

Both hulled and perl barley work well in this soup.

You can add some sweet corn as well this enhance the taste. The sweetness of corn, tanginess of tomato and strong spinach taste will definitely a great combo.
