  • This recipe is found in the free Daniel's Challenge eBook that can be opened from the Main page of this website. It is one of the seven featured Satiating Salads in Kitchen Challenge 3.
  • Ultra gel is found in the canning section of stores that carry it. It is available in many Utah stores; however, I don't know about its availability in St. George where you live. Visit the following website to learn where it is available or to order it directly: http://www.carnetfoods.com/
  • Where do I get ultra gel?
Thanks for all these wonderful recipes!!!
  • Thank you for the website for the ultra gel. I found a retailer in Fleetwood PA who will ship it to me.
  • The rice and veggie mixture keeps nicely in the refrigerator for several days!
  • Thank you for the recipe!! Because I am diabetic and very allergic to nuts I used only 1/3 cup brown rice and increased my leafy bed of greens, I made up only s dmsll smount of the dressing. It was very delicious! I was wondering if The rice mixture would keep during the week, without the greens, of course, so that I could have a ready made meal when I don't have time to cook? What do you think--anyone!
  • If you local grocer does not carry Ultra Gel, you can order it directly from the manufacturer at http://www.carnetfoods.com/. We like it because it thickens any liquid at any temperature. It's great for making jams, dressings, sauces, gravy, and so forth.
  • Where can you get Ultra Gel? I have never heard of it. I live in PA.
  • Where is the detailed recipe of this salad and dressing, I have looked in the Original Fast Food Book but have had no success finding it. Thank you for your help.
