Enjoying a good legume dish daily is an important part of a weight-loss or weight maintenance plan. One of the very best ways to enjoy your legumes is to do so as a dip for raw vegetables. Below we have included seven hummus blends that use garbanzo beans at their base. Feel free to substitute any other favorite bean of choice while making these hummus veggie dips. Some of my favorite "grazing" raw veggies I like to dip in hummus include broccoli, cabbage, celery, asparagus, carrot sticks, and cauliflower. I always like to consume one to two plus pounds of raw veggies daily and hummus helps make enjoying raw veggies simple and enjoyable to do. Set out veggie trays for your family with hummus and Peanapple Butter (see recipe) dips.
