I did not like the sweet taste...and no one else did either. I will make this dip again but with the following changes
Ingredients
1/2 Avocado
1 lime, juiced
1 jalopeno pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 14-oz can of black beans, drained and rinsed
3/4 cup water
Let us know how it turned out; What I am most encouraged by is how well the beans and avocado cream together to make such a nice texture. There is a lot of promise here as jalopeno peppers, garlic, and so forth are added. We are trying it tomorrow with just one date and some deliciously dill. We tried it also with a bit of goat cheese which was quite nice. Because the texture is so nice, I hope many will not only try this, but will do as you have done and share how they turn this basic recipe into a 5-star recipe. It has the texture and basic flavor to easily support several 5-star outcomes. Jim
I also agree that the texture is creamy...I think I will make some of my veggie crackers so we can dip veggies and crackers. This will be a fun recipe to play with.
