Eve, I decided to start having these meetings twice a month and last night was the first of these. I am planning on another meeting on the 26th. You are welcome to join us at that time.
Thank you for the reply to my questions. I have looked at your site - found some of the comments helpful. I would not try the fast without being under some medical supervision.
I would be interested in what you find helpful in regards to the weight loss. I have also been looking at the raw foods - but I get to the point where I like to add some of the soups etc for a change - I too find if I stick to raw foods for some time I get bored and that is when I tend to cheat once in a while. ( guess not really cheating - just adding some grains etc) My breakfast every morning is whole and steel cut oats with flaxseed
and cinnamon and fresh blueberries (I eat it raw) plus 2 oz of Xango plus a green smoothie (about 4 oz). Maybe I should cut out the grains to help with the weight loss.
Cool, Lauri! I wish I could attend, but I have a professional commitment on Thursday evenings. Darn! Do you always meet on Thursdays, or are there any other evenings?
Hi Eve, Actually I lean more to the Raw Foods but I enjoy what the Simmons have to offer, in fact I just started a Healthy Living Group that meets at my house in South Weber monthly. Our next meeting is March 18th. Send me your email and I'll give you the details.
Ciao! Lauri :)
